Here are his stats:
Weight: 23lbs, .5oz. (95th percentile)
Height: 27.5 in. (15th percentile- this seems weird, not sure if the measurement was accurate)
Head Circumference: 46 cm (80th percentile)
Functionally:
- transitions easily from sitting to all fours & vice versa
- crawling for about 2 weeks now
- pulls up on furniture to standing
- stands holding on for about 1 minute, then either falls over or sits back down, or can stand at an activity table for 10 mins or so with someone occasionally steadying him
- Loves to laugh at Leila, Mickey Mouse, run around in his walker & open all the cabinets, claps his hands, holds his bottles, dances to songs he likes, enjoys being read to before naps & bedtime.
Eating: has three meals a day at 8, 12, & 5- usually a banana & oatmeal for breakfast, a fruit & veggie for lunch, & rice cereal for dinner. He has cherrios, mum mums, puffs, oyster crackers as snacks. He has had some other finger foods like pasta & pieces of a waffle. He eats sweet potatoes, butternut squash, peas, carrots, apples, peaches, pears, avacodo, bananas. Most is homemade, only occassionally eating packaged food for convenience when traveling or out of the house. He has 4 6-ounce bottles of mostly formula, and some frozen breastmilk. Still spits up a lot!! Have tried a sippy cup with water or juice, but he's not very interested at this point.
Sleep: Usually takes 2 naps (sometimes 3) during the day- 30 mins to 2 hours. Goes to bed between 7-8 pm and sleeps until 6:30-7 am. Sleeps well through the night, unless he is sick, then is up a lot during the night. We can now just put him in the crib and he goes right to sleep without holding or rocking him (we were doing this for at least 6 months, but surprisingly didn't give us a hard time when we starting just putting him in)
Daycare: Goes to Children's Academy in Raleigh when Mom works 2-3 days/ week or Aunt Christine nannies at our house if she is not working. He has just recently transitioned to the toddler class at daycare.
It's been a tough winter with many colds and viruses, he's had 3 ear infections since he was born, and has had to use a nebulizer when he had RSV. Was on the airplane for the first time a week ago!
