5 Months Old

Chase is 5 Months Old! Wow does the time go so much quicker the 2nd time around. Chase is growing like a weed. He doesn't have a wellness check until next month but I know he's above average in weight & height. He is wearing 9 month clothes & some of his 6 month clothes. He is bigger than a 9 month old baby I saw today at Leila's dance class.
Chase is such a lovable little boy- he is very playful and loves people, especially watching his big sister. Developmentally he is doing great, probably progressing even more than Leila at this point- rolling over easily, sitting briefly unsupported, plays a lot on his tummy, and even scoots around in circles using his arms. He loves using his hands & reaching for his feet. However, sleeping is a whole other issue- his naps during the day range from 20 mins to 2 hours and they are very sporadic. At night, he is still not sleeping consistently through the night- some nights he makes it 9-5, but for the most part he is getting up 1-2, sometimes 3 times/night. We have started having him "cry it out" but honestly we have not been strict about it, it's too easy to give in at 3am.
He still takes 6-7 ounces, every 3-4 hours during the day, and has 2 tbsp. of rice in the morning and the evening. He loves his food!! I am still nursing and pumping, as well as giving him a bottle of formula a day. He's doing pretty good at daycare, getting better about taking naps in his crib, but still spits up a ton, and likes to be held.
