2 Month Wellness Check

Chase had his 2 month wellness check with Dr. Lobiscio yesterday. He's actually almost 10 weeks. Here are his stats: Weight: 11 lbs, 12.5 oz. (25th percentile) Height: 24 inches (85th percentile) Head Circumference: 39.5 cm (50th percentile) Chase has been doing a great job of gaining weight and climbing in percentile. His face is definitely filling out more and he eats well. We are still having the same issues with him spitting up a ton, but again the doctor keeps reassuring me it's just the way some babies are. He said at this age he should be eating 3-4 oz per feeding every 3-4 hours, totaling around 25 oz per day. Chase has been eating way more than that- 4-5 oz. per feeding every 2-3 hours during the day, and going anywhere from 4-7.5 hour stretches at night (usually about 6). So he is eating almost 35 oz. per day which may be contributing his spitting up so much. Other than that, he seems to be doing well despite a cold and ear infection last week. He is more alert- smiling, cooing, reacting to us- tracking us with his eyes and turning his head. He occasionally mimics my faces and tries to copy sounds. I love when he gets excited and makes a gasping sound. He's been batting his toys with his hands and feet, opens his hands to try and reach for my finger, and lifts/turns his head on his stomach. He seems to be right on track, and he's already growing up too quickly, quicker than I remember with Leila.
